All Details About Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Engagement, The Ring Made With Princess Diana's Jewelries + Video Of Their First Interview


As you all might have heard by now, there will be a royal wedding next year, as Prince Harry and actress, Meghan Markel are engaged. When I saw it on IG, I 'awwed' for minutes and was all up in my feelings and excited like I will be hired to be the wedding planner. Lol.

The announcement was made yesterday, and the news has since broke the internet, and got everyone rejoicing. Especially the Black-American community, as Meghan will be royalty of African descent (Her mother is black and her father is white). Something we all couldn't have imagined will happen 10 years ago, just as we couldn't have imagined a black man will be the president of America.

The love birds made their first photocall appearance after the engagement at the Sunken Garden in Kesington Palace and they sure looked so much in love (watch video below). When the prince was asked how he knew she was the one, he said, " from the first time we met".


About the ring Prince Harry proposed to Meghan with, which was designed by the Prince himself, it is a three stoned diamond cushion-cut, which has a central stone from Botswana and two small diamonds from late Princess Diana's jewelry collections.

"The little diamonds on either side are from my mother's jewelry collection to make sure that she's with us on this crazy journey together," Harry had said in their first interview as a couple on BBC yesterday.

 The stones sit on a band of yellow gold -Markle's favorite as Prince Harry had said- and was made by the queen's jeweler, Cleave and Co.



The love birds are said to have been dating for about a years and half, until Prince Harry proposed a few weeks ago, on one cozy night when they were trying to roast chicken. And yes, Prince Harry went down on one knee. "It was natural and romantic.....I could barely let you finish.. I was like, can I say yes now" Meghan had said when they were recounting how the proposal happened, in the interview.

The royal wedding is said to come off in Spring next year - and I shall surely prepare to attend it live on TV and take pictures on Instagram lol.
