So as the year is running and months have turned into weeks and weeks into days, and we are about to say goodbye to 2017 what are you thankful for? Though the year might look like a short period of time, a lot has happened and if I say I have nothing to be thankful for, I will be the most ungrateful human. I am thankful for so many things. For The Gift Of Life Yes! If I am not thankful for anything, I am just for the gift of life. Being here today, with y'all is the biggest blessing. We began this year with a lot of people who equally had dreams to chase, living better lives, had loved one who couldn't live without them, but unfortunately, they are not with us anymore. On that note, let me ask; what is that thing on your heart and you believe is the best move for you but all you do it just keep contemplating and never go ahead with it? Don't you think it is about time you made a move? Yes, it is not always so easy to start off something new, but once you believe it is the best decision and you muster up the courage and take a step, you will be surprised how things will just flow. Maybe you are probably thinking about  the failures, but even if it does, wouldn't you rather want to have that peace of mind knowing at least you tried than having 'what ifs' eat up your mind? If you keep contemplating on it, you might never do it. So start that business, apply for that job, date that person, move to that city, walk away from that abusive relationship, walk away from that negat...

Defilement has been happening since time in memorial and it is sickening to imagine that grown up men will find kids as little as a year old or even babies sexually appealing. Whenever I hear news of such, it makes me sick to my stomach. Some of these kids never recover from the trauma, die from it or the act have effect an their health. It is just sad these little girls that you men are to protect, they rather do not feel safe around you. Around men they call father, uncles, brothers, guardians. What even bothers me more when I hear of a case of defilement is when the culprit do not receive the necessary punishments they deserve. Some of us, if they put us on the seat of a judge we will do terrible things to these men, seriously. Sometimes we even feel like imprisoning them is not enough. But can you imagine that sometimes these men commit this atrocity and they are left to go scot-free? Like the recent Assin Fosu case which has thrown  Ghanaians into a state of anger. ...

I am sure by now, most of you have caught wind of the backlash Nivea is receiving from the African community on social media following the release of their new product? Ok if you haven't let me fill you in. So Nivea released a new body cream about a week ago and according to the ad, this cream "brings out your natural fair skin colour, for visibly fairer skin". But Africans are not happy with Nivea and are accusing the company of racism and of promoting skin bleaching.  Ghanaian born UK based musician, Fuse ODG is currently in Ghana and came across one of their billboards in town so he made a video, calling out the company to pull it down. Hi lovely people, trust you are all doing good. Since the days of Adam, there has been some sort of bad blood between Christians and Muslims and all because of each other’s religious faith. But why does it have to be like that? I have been thinking about it lately and asking myself a lot of questions. Christians believe there is God, heaven and earth and judgment after death and so do Muslims. It has even been confirmed that the Bible and the Quran have almost (if not exactly) the same teachings. So it means we are all entitled to obeying the same commandments set by this same God we are all worshipping, right?
