As you all might have heard by now, there will be a royal wedding next year, as Prince Harry and actress, Meghan Markel are engaged. When I saw it on IG, I 'awwed' for minutes and was all up in my feelings and excited like I will be hired to be the wedding planner. Lol. The announcement was made yesterday, and the news has since broke the internet, and got everyone rejoicing. Especially the Black-American community, as Meghan will be royalty of African descent (Her mother is black and her father is white). Something we all couldn't have imagined will happen 10 years ago, just as we couldn't have imagined a black man will be the president of America. So as the year is running and months have turned into weeks and weeks into days, and we are about to say goodbye to 2017 what are you thankful for? The International Genetically  Engineered Machines  (IGEM)  Competition, which aims at bringing people from all over the world together to identify problems specific to their environment, country or continent and using synthetic biology to solve these problems came to a successful end last week. And for the first time Ghana participated, we made mother Africa proud. The team from Ashesi University who represented Ghana and West Africa as a whole, picked the overall award, 'The Chairman's Award' and came second place for the 'Overgrad students' award. The grand prize awards were in three sections - the Overgrad students, Undergrad and High School. For the over grad section, of which Ghana came second in this section, the grand prize winner was Vilnius Lithuania a team from Lithuania whiles TU-Delft from Netherlands won the grand prize for the undergrad section and TAS Taipei from Taiwan won from the high school section. A week ago, the news of actress, Yvonne Nelson haven given birth to a baby girl broke though she denied the pregnancy. But I did say that most times, when rumors of a celebrity's pregnancy break like that and she denies, it dies away. It doesn't normally follow with delivery. So as her's came with news of her haven delivered, I knew there was some truth behind it all despite her denying the pregnancy. So I did say, if she was really pregnant and has really given birth, we all shall surely get to know and it has come to pass - or is passing lol. Wendy Williams fainted on live TV, in the middle of her Tuesday morning show a bout a few minutes into the show and it did not look good. Right in the middle of a sentence, she stuttered, missed a word, then got wobbly on her feet and the look on her face before hitting the ground was really scary. Fire department were said to have been called into the  studio to take care of her when t he show  quickly went on a commercial break to attend to her. #wendywilliams passing out like this on live TV was very much terrifying to watch, and to think people are making all kinds of jokes about it is very sad.
