If you all will remember, few weeks ago, I reported that actress Yvonne Nelson is said to be pregnant and also engaged to the bay daddy? (Read more details  here ). Well today, rumors trending has it that, she has given birth to a baby girl. (I want to be jumping for joy but I don't know if I should). When the pregnancy reports broke, she came out later to debunk it saying, pregnancy is a good thing, but she was definitely not expecting. Her posts on social media following that also suggested that she was not pregnant, as all her pictures showed the same flat tummy we have been seeing and no bump (but people post old photos all the time so we can never trust everything we see on social media can we?). However, normally when pregnancy rumors break, it doesn't follow with delivery reports when that pregnancy is debunked so I am a little skeptical about believing this is just rumors. The third edition of the annual Divas League, organised by KyeiwestNation is set to come off on Saturday, December 23rd and it promises to be bigger and better with so much more exciting packages. The Divas League is organised with the aim of giving ladies a wonderful opportunity to partake in amazing sports. As we know, most soccer events in the country are organised solely for men and hardly is recognition given to the women, hence the commencement of this initiative. This year's edition of this great initiative comes with amazing packages which includes FIFA competition for men, business advertising(stands and exhibitions), performances, and a lot of sporting activities, like 100 meters race, lime and spoon, sack race, among other fun activities. There will also be a competition in the soccer game, where 15 different teams will compete for a trophy and a cash prize of 1,000 and 500 Ghana cedis for the winner and runner up respectively. Defilement has been happening since time in memorial and it is sickening to imagine that grown up men will find kids as little as a year old or even babies sexually appealing. Whenever I hear news of such, it makes me sick to my stomach. Some of these kids never recover from the trauma, die from it or the act have effect an their health. It is just sad these little girls that you men are to protect, they rather do not feel safe around you. Around men they call father, uncles, brothers, guardians. What even bothers me more when I hear of a case of defilement is when the culprit do not receive the necessary punishments they deserve. Some of us, if they put us on the seat of a judge we will do terrible things to these men, seriously. Sometimes we even feel like imprisoning them is not enough. But can you imagine that sometimes these men commit this atrocity and they are left to go scot-free? Like the recent Assin Fosu case which has thrown  Ghanaians into a state of anger. A 

Captain of the Black stars,  Asamoah Gyan has obtained the requisite licenses to operate a new airline in the country under the name, 'Baby Jet Airlines' and it is reported to  start operations soon. This news was revealed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo whiles speaking at the first Aerospace and Aviation Exhibition of West Africa, dubbed “African Airshow”, at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra. Reports suggest that the company will commence operations with cargo handling, before expanding to human passengers.  As to whether the Airline will operate within the sub-regions or serve as an international airline, it is yet to be known. Congrats to our very own captain for investing in the nation's airlines.

Hi awesome people, hope you are all doing good, and the week is treating you well. No? Hang in there weekend will be here soon. How many of you have ever seen a guy on social media and think like damn, he has a great personality and you would like to get to know him more but when it comes to sliding into his DM to say hi, you begin to have second thoughts? I bet most of you have been there before or a few times. As for guys, we know it is easy to just hit into a lady's DM, though sometimes you claim you don't because you get scared of being bounced with a 'no'. But most often than not, you do it. But for us ladies, it is not so easy, especially in our part of the world (Africa). But I saw a post on  Facebook a few weeks ago of this beautiful engaged couple, who actually started it off through the DM, and from the post, which was posted by the guy, it was the girl who got into his DM first, and they took it from there--And they are probably married by now.

I am sure by now, most of you have caught wind of the backlash Nivea is receiving from the African community on social media following the release of their new product? Ok if you haven't let me fill you in. So Nivea released a new body cream about a week ago and according to the ad, this cream "brings out your natural fair skin colour, for visibly fairer skin". But Africans are not happy with Nivea and are accusing the company of racism and of promoting skin bleaching.  Ghanaian born UK based musician, Fuse ODG is currently in Ghana and came across one of their billboards in town so he made a video, calling out the company to pull it down. Some Ghanaians including celebrities have since added their voice to Fuse's demand. But wait! Why are y'all calling Nivea out w hen bleaching didn't just start yesterday?
